How Do I Add a New Team Member to My Account?

You can invite teammates to work alongside you in Kreator — they'll share the same account, brands, products, assets, and credits. Only account owners can send invitations.

What is a team member? Someone you add to your Kreator account so they can generate, edit, and organize creative alongside you. Each member has a role:

  • User — full access to create and manage work in the account.
  • Owner — everything a user can do, plus manage the team, billing, and integrations.

Your plan sets a limit on how many seats you can fill — see the Subscriptions page for your seat count.

Steps

1. Open the Team page

Sign in to Kreator and navigate to the Team page.

  • Type /dashboard/team in your browser, or
  • From your Account area, look for the Team section (with headings Team — Manage your team and invites).

Note: Only account owners can access this page. If you see an "Access Restricted" message, ask your account owner to invite the new member (or to promote you to owner first).

2. Click Invite User

In the top-right of the Team page, click Invite User.

The Invite New Team Member dialog opens.

3. Fill in the invitation form

In the dialog, provide:

  • Email — the teammate's email address (they'll receive the invitation here).
  • Name — their full name.
  • Role — pick User for a standard team member, or Owner if they'll also need to manage the team and billing.

Click Send Invitation.

4. Wait for your teammate to accept

Your teammate receives an email invitation. When they click the link and complete sign-up (or sign in with the same email if they already have a Kreator account), they'll join your account automatically.

Meanwhile, their invitation appears under Pending on the Team page. From there you can:

  • Regenerate the invitation link if they didn't receive the email.
  • Revoke the invitation if it was sent by mistake or is no longer needed.

How do I know it worked?

You'll know the new team member is added when:

  • The invitation shows up in the Pending section immediately after you click Send Invitation.
  • Once accepted, the person moves from Pending to the Active members list.
  • Their name, email, role, and join date appear on their member card.
  • They can now sign in and see your account's brands, products, assets, and folders.

Tips

  • Use their real work email. The invite link and future notifications go to this address — make sure it's one they check.
  • Start with the User role. Only assign Owner to people who genuinely need to manage the team, billing, and integrations. You can promote later from the member card.
  • Change roles anytime. On the member card, open the role dropdown and choose User or Owner — the change applies immediately.
  • Remove a member cleanly. Click the trash icon on their card to remove them. Their work stays in the account; only their access is revoked.
  • Watch your seat count. Your plan's Seats number lives on the Subscriptions page. If invitations are failing because you're at the limit, upgrade your plan first, then invite.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the Team page or Invite User button. Team management is available to account owners only. Ask your account owner to invite the new member, or to change your role to Owner.

My teammate didn't receive the invitation email. Ask them to check their spam and promotions folders. On the Team page, open Pending Invitations and click Regenerate to send a fresh link.

"Failed to invite user." The email might already belong to another Kreator account, or you may have hit your plan's Seats limit. Check the Subscriptions page for your seat count; upgrade if needed.

I invited the wrong person. Under Pending Invitations, click the Revoke action to cancel the invitation before they accept it.

I need to remove a teammate who already joined. Open the Team page, find their card in the Active section, and click the trash icon. Confirm the removal — their access is revoked immediately, but their created assets stay in the account.
