How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime — directly from your account, no email or support ticket required. Cancellation keeps your plan active until the end of your current billing period, so you don't lose anything immediately.

What does cancelling do?

It stops your plan from auto-renewing. You keep full access — credits, storage, team seats, and all features — until your current period ends, then your account moves to an expired state. Until that date, you can change your mind and restore your subscription with one click.

Steps

1. Open the Subscriptions page

Sign in to Kreator. In the top-right of the dashboard, click your profile avatar to open the user menu, then click Subscriptions (the option with the credit-card icon).

You'll land on the Subscriptions page ("Manage your subscription plans and billing").

2. Find your active plan

Your active plan appears at the top of the page in a card showing:

  • The plan name (e.g. Starter, Pro, Business) with a green Active badge.
  • Your monthly credits, storage, and team seats.
  • Your next renewal date.

3. Click Cancel Subscription

In the bottom-right of the active plan card, click the red Cancel Subscription button.

The cancellation dialog opens.

4. Review what you're losing

The first step of the dialog (Danger Zone) recaps what your plan includes — credits, storage, and seats — and shows the date your subscription will remain active until.

If you change your mind here, click Keep my plan to close the dialog with no changes.

To continue, click Continue to cancel.

5. Tell us why you're cancelling

The second step (Help us improve) asks for a quick cancellation reason.

You can also leave an optional note in the text box below.

6. Confirm the cancellation

Click the red Cancel subscription button at the bottom of the dialog.

The button briefly shows Canceling… while Kreator processes the change. When it's done, the dialog closes and your plan card updates.

How do I know it worked?

You'll know cancellation went through when:

  • The status badge on your plan changes from Active (green) to Canceling (red).
  • The card now shows Cancels on: [date] instead of Renews on….
  • The Cancel Subscription button is replaced with Restore Subscription — your safety net if you change your mind before the end date.

Troubleshooting

I don't see a Subscriptions option in my account menu. Only the account owner can manage subscriptions. If you're a team member, ask your account owner to cancel — they'll see the option.

The Cancel Subscription button isn't there. Your subscription may already be marked as canceling (look for the red Canceling badge), past due, or otherwise inactive. In those cases, you'll see a Restore Subscription button instead, or a status note explaining the state.

I clicked Cancel by mistake. As long as your end date hasn't passed, click Restore Subscription on the same plan card to put things back exactly the way they were.

I want a refund for the time I'm not using. Cancellation stops auto-renewal but doesn't refund the current period. If you need a refund, contact support@kreator.ai with your account email and order details.

My account has a coupon or discount applied. Cancelling doesn't lock you out of that discount permanently — but if you re-subscribe later, the coupon may no longer be available. Contact support if you need help preserving a special rate.
