Generate Video using Inspiration Library

The Inspiration Library is a curated collection of ready-made templates you can remix with your own product image. For this task, you'll pick a video template, drop in your product, and let Kreator generate a brand-new video clip in the same style — no scripting or editing required.

This task takes about 3 minutes.

What is the Inspiration Library?

It's a gallery of pre-built templates inside Kreator — both image ads and short videos — that have been tested to perform well. Each template comes with its own style, format, and prompt. You bring a product image (and optionally a description), Kreator does the rest, and the finished clip lands in your asset library to reuse anywhere.

Steps

1. Open the Inspiration Library

In the left sidebar, expand the Inspiration Library group and click Videos.

You'll land on the Inspiration Library - Videos page with the heading "Pick a template and generate a new creative from it using your product details."

2. Find a video template

The page shows templates as a masonry grid. Each card has a small icon badge in the top-left corner.

Use the Search box and type a keyword to match titles or tags.

When you find one you like, click the card (or the Use template button).

3. Add your product image

The template opens in a focused two-pane view: the auto-playing template preview on the right, and a settings panel on the left.

In the left panel, the first field is Product Image. Add yours one of three ways:

  • Upload — drag and drop a photo into the dotted area, or click to pick from your computer.
  • Assets — choose an image you've already uploaded to Kreator.
  • Products — pick a saved product, which auto-fills its image, description, and brand details for you.

4. Fill in the template fields

Each template has its own set of fields below the product image — for example a product name, short description, headline, or tagline. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk; optional fields show "Optional" on the right.

If you picked a saved product, you'll see offered Alternatives appear under text field within a few seconds — click any suggestion to drop it straight into the field.

Below the text fields, you'll usually see two more controls:

  • Number of videos — how many variations to generate in this run (start with 1 for your first try).
  • Aspect ratio — pick the format that fits where you'll post (for example, 9:16 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts).

5. Generate the video

At the bottom of the left panel, click Generate.

The button shows the credit cost for this run. While it processes, a "Queued…" then "Processing…" overlay appears over the template video. Generation typically takes 1–3 minutes depending on the template.

When it's done, your generated video plays in the main area, and a Template / Generated thumbnail row appears at the bottom so you can flip between the original template and your version.

How do I know it worked?

You'll know the task is complete when:

  • Your generated video plays back in the main viewer (and not the template preview).
  • The Template / Generated thumbnail toggle appears, switched to Generated.
  • The new video shows up in your asset library, ready to download or reuse in other workflows.
  • The Try again button appears at the bottom of the left panel — a clear sign the run finished.

Tips

  • Pick a template that matches your product type. A skincare product paired with a UGC unboxing template will look more natural than one designed for a tech gadget.
  • Use a clean product photo. A clear, well-lit image with the product centered gives the sharpest results — busy backgrounds can confuse the model.
  • Use a saved Product to skip typing. Picking from Products auto-fills the description, brand, and matching template fields for you.
  • Use the suggested copy. If you don't love your own wording, click one of the suggestion buttons under each field — they're tailored to your product.
  • Try several variations. Bump the count up to 2 or 3 to see different takes from the same template, then pick the best.

Troubleshooting

The Generate button is greyed out. You're missing a required input. Make sure you've added a product image and filled in every field marked with a red asterisk.

"Insufficient credits."

Video templates use credits per generated clip. Drop the Number of videos to 1, top up your credits, or upgrade your plan, then try again.

Generation seems stuck on "Processing…".

Video runs typically take 1–3 minutes. If it's been longer than 5 minutes, refresh the page — the result will appear automatically once it's ready, and you can also find it in your asset library.

The result doesn't match the template style.

Re-run with a clearer product photo, a more specific description, and (if available) a saved product. You can also click Try again for a fresh variation, or Choose a different image to start over.

I can't find a video template.

Clear the category filter and the search box at the top, then look for cards with the small film icon badge in the top-right corner.

I generated the video but the checklist still says it's incomplete.

Refresh the page and check the checklist again. If it still shows as incomplete after a minute, contact support.
